Last updated: May 11, 2026
Dequan Snipe ("we", "us", or "our") operates snipe.dequan.xyz. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
1. Information We Collect
- Wallet address – when you connect a Solana wallet, your public key is recorded to authenticate your session and associate trading activity.
- Email address – if you sign in via Google or email OTP, we collect your email address to create and maintain your account.
- Google profile – if you use "Sign in with Google", we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store only your email and a derived account identifier.
- Trading activity – buy/sell transactions you initiate through the platform are logged for your portfolio history and platform analytics.
- Session data – short-lived authentication tokens (cookies and localStorage) are used to maintain your login session.
- Usage data – anonymous usage metrics (page views, feature interactions) may be collected to improve the service. We do not use cross-site tracking or sell this data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and provide access to the platform.
- To operate your custodial (Lightning) wallet and execute trades you initiate.
- To display your trade history and portfolio.
- To send transactional emails (OTP codes) when you choose email sign-in.
- To improve platform performance and reliability.
3. Custodial Wallet
Email and Google sign-in users are automatically provisioned a custodial Solana wallet managed by Dequan. Private keys for custodial wallets are encrypted at rest using AWS KMS and are never exposed to the client. You are responsible for withdrawing funds before closing your account.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share data with:
- Google – when you use "Sign in with Google" (governed by Google's Privacy Policy).
- Cloudflare – our hosting and edge infrastructure provider.
- AWS – for encrypted key management.
- Law enforcement or regulators, if required by applicable law.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Session tokens expire automatically (30 days for account sessions). You may request deletion of your account by contacting us — see Section 8.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted key storage, and short-lived authentication tokens. No system is perfectly secure; you use the platform at your own risk.
7. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Your Rights & Contact
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
